The Sukkah, Styled

It’s finally time to put it all together.

You spent weeks crafting, painting, and working on all those individual Sukkah DIYs. But once they’re done, there’s still the question of how to put everything together without your sukkah looking like one big craft display.

That was really the idea behind this entire setup.

I took all the projects I’ve been sharing throughout the summer, from the Ushpizin art and Shivas Haminim decor to the Kosel canvas, wood-burning project, clay fruit garlands, rattan florals, and macramé details, and styled them together as one complete space.

I kept the colors and materials consistent throughout. Lots of natural wood, rope, texture, greenery, and soft neutrals. Some pieces became focal points, while others were layered in more quietly so everything could work together without feeling like too much.

And since we’re told to actually dwell in the sukkah, I decided it needed more than just a beautiful table. I added a little seating area with a bench, pillows, and chairs to make it feel a bit more like home. A spot to sit, relax, and actually spend time in the sukkah outside of the meals.

Then there’s the table, which ties right into the rest of the sukkah and finishes off the full look.

You don’t need to recreate every detail. Pick a DIY, borrow a styling idea, or go all in and recreate the entire setup.
